Criteria for Selecting Mission Projects

• Relevance to both the Mission Statement and the Mission and Outreach Statement.

• Involment (and passion) of congregation members in and for the project / cause.

We will consider projects / organizations in which a congregation member is directly involved only if that member is willing to be the representative to the Session for that project / organization.

• Ability to make a significant difference.

We give priority to projects / organizations where our contributions truly make a difference in the lives of individuals.

• Opportunity to foster spiritual growth in members of our congregation.

As funds permit, the Session occasionally may give consideration to sponsoring individual members' participation in projects and trips.

• Accountability of the oranization.

As we are called to be responsible stewards of our church's resources so we expect the projects / organizations that we support to be responsible and accountable for their resources.
